FAQ's

Is my visit ACC funded?

ACC is now providing partial cover for Maternal birth injuries. YAY! Speak to your midwife, GP or come in for an assessment to see if you're eligible.

If you have had an accident or injury and you would like Physiotherapy treatment, you can come directly to The Flo Collective.
No need for a doctors referral. Please discuss with your Physiotherapist whether you are eligible for ACC and we can lodge your claim for you.
ACC pays a portion of the cost of each physiotherapy treatment - if you would like to know more about the conditions required for an ACC Claim or what ACC will contribute towards treatment please contact us.

What's involved in my first Women's Health consult?

Your sessions are completely confidential and involve an initial chat and questioning to ensure we have a thorough understanding of your story, history, and goals. We then perform an assessment of movement and function depending on what the main issues are. This may also involve an assessment of the patient's stomach and an external/internal assessment of pelvic floor muscles (if required).
You are in complete control of the assessment at all times and have the right to refuse assessment/treatment at any stage.

Do you offer mobile services?

Yes, we know how crazy life can be with a new baby and sore boobs! so for the emergency blocked milk duct service we can bring our therapeutic ultrasound machine to the comfort of your own home.
We also have a mobile Physio table and in special circumstances would be happy to bring all our services to you. Call to chat about this option further and too see if you qualify.
